An important message from Hiawatha:

After careful consideration, I must question and challenge the Tribal Election Committee’s (TEC) decision received on Saturday, April 7. I have been eliminated as a 2018 candidate for the elected position of Chief Sachem of the Narragansett Indian Tribe based on the TEC’s finding of that I am not “in good standing” within the tribe.

Thank you to the Narraganset tribal community and supporters for taking the time to review my website and comment. Please stay tuned for updates. I will continue my outreach and events once the appeals process is complete.
